Background

Established in 1993 by Rick Draper, Amtac Professional Services Pty Ltd ("Amtac") has grown to be one of Australia's most respected consultancy practices in the areas of crime prevention and security risk management. Amtac's professional development arm, the International Security Management and Crime Prevention Institute, is a leader in the provision of tuition and guidance within its field, particularly in the area of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (“CPTED”). Amtac and ISMCPI have has been responsible for providing training to literally thousands of crime prevention, security and law enforcement professionals across Australia and internationally, including delivering in-house training to police organisations, local government, private companies, as well as government departments and agencies.
